X-Men: First Class clip and TV spots

by Liam on May 11, 2011

x men first class cast image We’ve seen stills, bad posters and excellent trailers, now it’s time to see some clips and TV spots for Matthew Vaughn’s X-Men: First Class.

The first official clip from the film comes courtesy of Yahoo! and features Xavier and Raven Darkholme, along with Dr. Moira MacTaggert, in a meeting with the CIA. Unfortunately for them, Xavier can read minds.

This movie just keeps looking better and better.

20th Century Fox has also started ramping up TV advertisements, and we have a few new TV spots below with some new footage.

Matthew Vaughn’s movie, set for release on June 3rd, will focus on Xavier (James McAvoy) and Magneto (Michael Fassbender) as they work together with other mutants to stop the Hellfire Club, an international social club for wealthy elites who seek to influence world events to their own agenda. Kevin Bacon will play the leader, Sebastian Shaw, along with January Jones as Emma Frost.

The movie also features Dr. Moira MacTaggert (Rose Byrne), Azazel (Jason Flemyng), Beast (Nicholas Hoult), Havok (Lucas Till), Angel Salvadore (Zoë Kravitz), Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence), Banshee (Caleb Landry Jones) and Darwin (Edi Gathegi).

Who is Magneto Punching in this new X-Men: First Class TV spot? UPDATE: Now with new CLIP!

Meredith Woerner — This brand new TV spot for Matthew Vaughn's mutant prequel X-Men: First Class reveals a fair bit of new footage. Including child Charles Xavier and a blue tyke Mystique. Plus, who is Erik Lehnsherr fighting? UPDATE: New clip added!

Spoilers below...

Hidden within the trailer is an interesting moment between Erik Lehnsherr and what appears to be his later incarnation, Magneto. We pulled a screengrab of what looks like actor Michael Fassbender fighting off the future version of himself (complete with infamous Magneto helmet). It also appears as if the two are fighting in some sort of hall of mirrors, which only adds fuel to the theory that Lehnsherr is indeed fighting himself (as so many anti-heroes are wont to do in a hall of mirrors).

And finally, you may be asking yourself, how is it that Mystique and baby Charles Xavier are the same age? Well, we're glad you asked. In the comic Raven Darkholme (Mystique) ages much more slowly than the rest of the characters, giving her the chance to have a long history with most of the mutants you know. This gives us great hope for Vaughn's movie, as it appears he's sticking to canon. X-Men: First Class will be in theaters June, 3 2011.

UPDATE: Yahoo just released this new clip!

fassbender mcavoy x men first class1 New TV Spot For Matthew Vaughn’s ‘X Men: First Class’ – Starring Michael Fassbender & James McAvoy

Fox have unveiled this new 30 second TV Spot for Matthew Vaughn’s ‘X-Men: First Class,’ featuring a couple new clips from the film. The upcoming superhero flick charts the epic beginning of the X-Men saga, showing us the origins of Charles Xavier and Magneto as they discover their powers and find their friendship tested. Out of all the comic book-inspired flicks released this summer this is the one I’m looking forward to most – I’m thoroughly stoked! Look out for ‘X-Men: First Class’ in cinemas June 1st in the UK, and June 3rd in the US.

”X-Men: First Class charts the epic beginning of the X-Men saga, and reveals a secret history of famous global events. Before mutants had revealed themselves to the world, and before Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Not archenemies, they were instead at first the closest of friends, working together with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to stop Armageddon. In the process, a grave rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto’s Brotherhood and Professor X’s X-Men.”

New “X-Men: First Class” Videos Give A Better Look At Emma Frost

20th Century Fox has been releasing several TV spots and clips from Matthew Vaughn’s X-Men: First Class lately. The second clip after the jump shows Xavier blowing up Beast’s spot by exposing he’s a mutant, but it works out ’cause Mystique is into that. Speaking of which, some of James McAvoy’s acting choices in the clips so far might make a little more sense now that he’s said in an interview, “The Charles we know as an older man is portrayed in a way that is very straight, very noble, very wise, very sage; and I had the opportunity to make him very unwise and very unknowing and very glib, rather than sage. And not meaning make him stupid — he is a genius — but I think at this stage in his life he is more selfish.”

The last two videos are just run-of-the-mill TV spots that don’t seem to have anything new. The first video might be new to you, however, as it aired during “American Idol” and do people still watch that show? I thought it was replaced with reruns of House. (Will he take pills? Will they discover the mystery disease after 54 minutes of near-death emergencies and sexual harassment? Who knows!) Perhaps most importantly, this first TV spot shows a tiny glimpse of Emma Frost doing her White Queen thing. For like two seconds. What a Frosttease.

Beastly New “X-Men: First Class” Clips

So have you heard of this X-Men: First Class movie yet? We may have mentioned it lately. Well, it opens in two weeks, so they keep remixing the same handful of clips and will throw in a new half-second of footage here and there. After the jump is a clip of Hank McCoy (Beast, played by Nicholas Hoult) asking for a sample of blood from Raven Darkholme (Mystique, played by Jennifer Lawrence) when she was hoping for a different kind of injection, by which I mean a flu shot of course. Can’t be too careful, you lot of perverts.

Speaking of perverts, the three TV spots following that clip have just a hint of Emma Frost being a badass in a bra. If this were the pre-internet days, that would be considered a high-schooler’s porn substitute when the waterlogged magazine hidden in the forest goes missing. But now we have the internet, so pictures of January Jones in a bra are a Google search away and the waterlogged magazine in the forest has been replaced with a folder titled “Tax Forms/Schedule D 2007/skeet skeet skeet“.

Two New 'X-Men: First Class' TV Spots

Two New 'X-Men: First Class' TV Spots

If a movie is a full meal, then a movie trailer is sort of a fun-sized candy bar. TV spots, then, are basically sugar cubes. Today we have two new sugar cubes from X-Men: First Class, the prequel set in the midst of the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis and directed by Matthew Vaughn. The first shows off new mutant powers, like the laser blasts of Lucas Till's Havok and the be-thumbed feet of Beast, played by Nicholas Hoult. The second spot has Michael Fassbender's Magneto delivering a polemic on the evils of mankind, while wearing his sexy helmet and dealing with hundred of missiles. Watch away.

Both sugar cubed TV spots were rounded up by Themoviebox and made embeddable by Comingsoon.

Nicholas Hoult shows off Beast in new clip from “X-Men: First Class”
by Linda Ge

Jennifer Lawrence shows a bit of Mystique’s femme fatale tendencies emerge in this new clip from “X-Men: First Class”, as she teases and flatters shy scientist Nicholas Hoult as Hank McCoy, the mutant who will come to be known as Beast. James McAvoy as Xavier, Michael Fassbender as Magneto, Rose Byrne as Moira MacTaggert and Oliver Platt as The Man in Black are all there, peering curiously at their new mutant friend and encourage him to show off his powers for them. There, of course, being the 1960s, back when everyone got along and there was still hope for mutants and humans (and mutants and mutants) to get along peacefully. As we know from history, at least two of this new group of friends won’t be so friendly in the end.

“X-Men: First Class” chronicles the beginning of the X-Men, and hits theaters on June 3, 2011.

X-Men: First Class Clip Has Hank McCoy Being Outed As A Mutant image
When the X-Men comics first premiered in the 1960s, many connections were drawn between the mutant struggle and the civil rights movement in America. The impressive social consciousness in books seen largely as child's play was quite impressive and earned the series quite a lot of respect. When Bryan Singer directed the first X-Men live-action feature film in 2000, however, many, including star Ian McKellan, saw the story as an allegory for the lives of many homosexuals, a scene in X2 when a father asks his son, "Have you ever tried... not being a mutant?" proving to be quite poignant. The new clip from X-Men: First Class suggests that the established theme will continue.

In the video, Xavier (James McAvoy), Erik (Michael Fassbender), Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence), and Moira MacTaggert (Rose Byrne) are introduced to Hank McCoy (Nicholas Hoult), a mutant that comic fans recognize as Beast. The catch? The man from the CIA, known only as Man in Black (Oliver Platt), has no idea that Hank is a mutant. So what's Hank's excuse? Don't ask, don't tell.

Every Hero Has An Origin – New TV Spot For ‘X-Men: First Class’
Published on May 16, 2011 by Craig Sharp

Just a few short weeks to go now until the release of 20th Century Fox's mutant prequel, X-Men: First Class and today we have a new TV spot from the film. Starring (among others) James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Rose Byrne, January Jones, Jennifer Lawrence and Kevin Bacon, the film is directed by Matthew Vaughn and could potentially kick-start a brand new X-Men franchise for Fox.

The TV spot focuses on the story of Charles Xavier (McAvoy) and his journey to becoming the most powerful mutant on the planet and the founder of the X-Men, take a look after the synopsis:

X-Men: First Class charts the epic beginning of the X-Men saga, and reveals a secret history of famous global events. New X-Men: First Class TV Spot
May 15, 2011 02:05 PM EDT

Here's the latest look at the new X-Men movie.

This new TV spot for X-Men: First Class, premiered on Friday, was seen by many during the Smallville series finale. Superman is property of the comics publisher, D. C, and X-Men is from Marvel Comics, so what's happening here? Shouldn't their business practices be fueled by apathy and bile—aren't they in direct competition?

Not exactly, because the public that pays top dollar to see these 3D movies on the big screen, don't really mind who's who that pays the bills of the flying man wearing a cape or the one that possesses a set of invincible claws. The two major comic book companies recognize that and are looking to "help a brother out."

A young Mystique played by Winter Bone's nominated actress Jennifer Lawrence. Michael Fassbender as Magneto, James McAvoy as Professor X, and Zoe Kravitz with wings, who all are surprisingly connected to Kevin Bacon. The latter has been charmingly hidden in the advertisement as the Big Bad, a mutant at the upper echelon of society. Find them on joblo.com, and get the latest fix of mutant drama.

5 New Previews of X-Men: First Class by Troy Rogers

Although fans of X-Men will soon see X-Men: First Class in theaters on June 3, Marvel and 20th Century Fox released a series of new First Class previews and photos to kick start the retro hype and cinematic comic-to-film goodness.

In the latest previews of X-Men: First Class, fans of the popular Marvel mutants get to see the action that director Matthew Vaughn promised for the latest X-Men prequel. In the first X-Men clip, Med Men actress January Jones is featured as Emma Frost in an interrogation room where Frost displays her icy power. The X-Men: First Class action ramps up as we see Kevin Bacon in the role of Sebastian Shaw, who takes on an army of men with machine guns before Shaw continues in the following X-Men clip with the popular line "with us or against us," as Sebastian offers the young pupils of Professor Xavier a choice.

More action from X-Men: First Class follows with Sean Cassidy (aka Banshee) and Michael Fassbender in the role of a good Magneto who takes on a submarine. Lastly, in what X-Men fans have been waiting for, we see Michael Fassbender become the evil Magneto as he redirects missiles fired at the X-Men from a fleet of warships.

Check out the new X-Men: First Class previews plus photos of what X-Men fans can expect in the way of imagery.

6 New Action-Oriented 'X-Men: First Class' Clips
Thursday, 26 May 2011 09:31 Written by Jordan DeSaulnier

With X-Men: First Class little more than a week away, it's time to ask yourself how much of the film you want to spoil. Six new clips from the film contain oodles and oodles of mutant action, but they also include important, and even climactic, action beats that will probably play better in the context of the final film. Still, if your Thursday could use some mutant powers, then these clips – which feature Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Kevin Bacon, January Jones, Jason Flemyng, Lucas Till, and Caleb Landry Jones all using their abilities to the fullest – could make your day.

All six clips are here courtesy of ComingSoon, and like many of the peeks that preceded them, some feature choppy editing, with scenes clearly truncated to fit in a bite-sized clip.

X-Men: First Class is directed by Matthew Vaughn, who previously helmed Layer Cake, Stardust, and Kick-Ass. The earliest reviews of the prequel have very enthusiastic, asserting that First Class rejuvenates the franchise and provides the best X-Men experience since X2.

We'll see for ourselves when it theaters in beautiful 2D on June 3rd.

Even More X-Men: First Class Preview Clips
Posted 05.26.11 by Ryan

It's official: 20th Century Fox is releasing X-Men: First Class on the Internet through a series of short preview clips.

Earlier this week, the studio released a preview clip that showed a young Charles Xavier (Laurence Belcher) meet an equally young Mystique (Morgan Lily). Almost a week earlier, a previous Beast-centric preview clip that involved an older Professor X (James McAvoy) meeting Beast (Nicholas Hoult) for the first time.

With the movie's release just over a week away, Fox has unleashed several new preview clips to help spoil promote the movie, so fans can have an early viewing before seeing the prequel in theaters.

This first clip, from ComingSoon, is an extension of a scene from the Mystique character trailer that showed the beginning of the bond between Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence) and Magneto (Michael Fassbender) that was prevalent throughout the previous X-Men trilogy.

The second clip shows January Jones as Emma Frost sitting in a CIA interrogation room that was first revealed in an early First Class image.

In the third clip, Kevin Bacon enters as Sebastian Shaw and asks the young X-Men team if they want to join him and his cause.

In the fourth clip, Magneto and Professor X bring the young mutants to Xavier's estate to train Havok (Lucas Till) and Banshee (Caleb Landry Jones).

With so many preview clips already online, is it possible that director Matthew Vaughn has more surprises in store? Luckily, for fans, the prequel continues to get excellent early reviews.

Emma Frost Channels 'Basic Instinct' in New 'X-Men: First Class' Clips [Video]

Given the overwhelmingly positive reaction to early screenings of X-Men: First Class, it's no wonder 20th Century Fox has taken some bold promotional steps and released more footage and other material from the film, which is of course based on the beloved Marvel Comics superheroes. This week the studio released not one, not two, not three but actually four new scenes from X-Men: First Class, each showcasing a different character and demonstrating the cinematic coolness of their mutant powers. You can check them out after the jump.

Coolest among the new batch of clips from X-Men: First Class is this one featuring January Jones as Emma Frost, who director Matthew Vaughn has obviously likened to Sharon Stone's famous femme fatale from Basic Instinct. The other clips highlight the nefarious Sebastian Show (Kevin Bacon), Magneto & Mystique (Michael Fassbender & Jennifer Lawrence), and a number of Chales Xavier's first students learning to use their abilities.

http://topratedmovies.frikinews.com/why-x-men-first-class-reveals-a-series-in-need-of-a-genuine-mutation

Why X-Men: First Class reveals a series in need of a genuine mutation

With its colourless characters and cheesy one-liners, the latest X-Men movie favours a tired formula over radical reinvention

One can’t help feeling that the X-Men movies have enjoyed a rather charmed life. Matthew Vaughn’s X-Men: First Class, which opens in the UK on Wednesday, will be the fifth film about Professor X and his merry band of mutants to hit the big screen in only 11 years. That’s as many as Superman, two more than Spider-Man and only one fewer than Batman. Critical drubbings for various instalments in those other “franchises” have led to drastic regime changes at the top, often coupled with years of soul searching over which direction to go in next. Yet Twentieth Century Fox cheerfully goes about its business of making sure a new film arrives in multiplexes every couple of years, even after non-starters such as 2006′s Brett Ratner-directed X-Men: The Final Stand and 2009′s insipid Wolverine.

X-Men: First Class may be a prequel set in a new era (the early 60s) with a new cast, but it is not nearly as much of a genuine mutation from the norm as might be expected. Nor is it quite as good as some early reviews have suggested.

Whereas Christopher Nolan breezily ignored all the previous Batman films with his genre-defining Batman Begins, Vaughn and screenwriter Jane Goldman’s script is based on a story by Bryan Singer, who made the first two X-Men movies. The film ends up being not so much a radical reinvention of the series as an affirmation of those earlier features: it has their DNA running through its system, and we’re left in no doubt that events are intended to prefigure those we’ve already seen pan out on screen.

Had X-Men: First Class arrived back in 2000, when Singer’s first film hit cinemas, it might have been revolutionary. Arriving as it does in 2011, it feels like a throwback to an earlier, simpler era where audiences were willing to accept cardboard cut-out villains and one-dimensional heroes. It’s the sort of film for which the caveat “it’s only a comic book movie” will be constantly offered in conversation.

There are nonetheless some excellent aspects. Vaughn convincingly introduces us to the young Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) and Erik Lehnsherr (Michael Fassbender), and shows us why the two might just as easily have been friends as enemies. Lehnsherr (the future Magneto) has a cracking stony-faced early escapade to Argentina to track down some retired Nazis, coming off like James Bond with superpowers (and a mean, lean, Daniel Craig-style 007 at that). McAvoy is typically lovable as the cocky yet earnest Xavier, the sort of geeky posh bloke who might have ended up as a charismatic, well-meaning charity boss had he not been gifted with mutant genes. Of the remaining cast, Jennifer Lawrence, January Jones and Rose Byrne all do well to flesh out meagre material, though the film rather limits their involvement to that of classy eye candy.

Kevin Bacon makes a suitably sinister villain, but it’s here that the film begins to reveal its limited ambition. The 60s setting almost compels the film-makers to pay homage to Bond et al, but the villains in X-Men: First Class are like bad guys in cheap James Bond movies. They want to take over the world because they want to take over the world. There are efforts to explain their hatred of humans, but they are the same arguments used in the earlier films, and there’s very little complexity to them.

I forget whether the line: “Mutant and proud” appears in the original films or comic books, but its use here by Lawrence’s Mystique feels contrived and unnecessary. So, too, the scene in which Fassbender, addressed by his given name, utters: “I prefer Magneto.” At these moments, it’s impossible not to shudder at the cargo load of obscenely stinky, sweaty cheese that has just been driven right through the centre of the movie. Did some suit at Fox insist on these lines being used, or did Singer, Vaughn and Goldman genuinely think they were a good idea?

I’ve often berated studios such as Warner Bros on this blog for umming and ahhing over what to do with Superman in the wake of Singer’s prosaic Superman Returns in 2006, but the opposite end of the spectrum is Fox’s attitude that you don’t mess with a good (or even a bad) thing. Had the money men who oversee X-Men been in charge of Batman, George Clooney would still be sporting rubber batnipples and Joel Schumacher would be planning his fifth or sixth instalment. Hence, X-Men: First Class is not so much a reboot as a gentle reroute.

For this series to reach the heights of great comic book movies, it requires a real DNA change. No more Singer, and no more idiotic one-liners, please. It’s time for a genuine mutation.

One Last 'X-Men: First Class' Clip Introduces Code Names
Friday, 03 June 2011 09:21 Written by Jordan DeSaulnier

It's Friday, which means that X-Men: First Class is now playing at a theater near you. Some X-fans probably caught the film at midnight screenings already, but since the bulk you have yet to see the mutant prequel, why not partake in yet another clip from the film? This time, it's not James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender diffusing the Cuban Missile Crisis. It's the first class of the title – young, confused mutants enlisted to fight the Hellfire Club – deciding on their code names and sharing their unique powers.

On hand for the action in this clip are Zoe Kravitz as Angel Salvatore, Edi Gathegi as Darwin, Nicholas Hoult as Hank McCoy, Jennifer Lawrence as Raven Darkholme, Lucas Till as Alex Summers, Caleb Landry Jones as Sean Cassidy. In the film, they're up against Kevin Bacon's Sebastian Shaw, though some may very well discover that their ideas are more along the lines of the Hellfire Club, which also includes January Jones as Emma Frost and Jason Flemyng as Azazel.

So there you have what is very likely the last promotional clip from X-Men: First Class, in theaters right now.

Mystique is Teacher's Pet in 'X-Men: First Class' [Exclusive Video]

Courtesy of 20th Century Fox, ComicsAlliance and our friends at Moviefone bring you an exclusive clip from X-Men: First Class, the new film based on the legendary Marvel Comics superheroes. In this exclusive video, we see a characteristically pro-mutant Magneto encouraging a young Mystique to be herself, but in a rather sophisticated context. Needless to say, the character of Erik Lehnsherr, played by Michael Fassbender, is perfectly expressed in the scene.

SPOILER WARNINGS IN FULL EFFECT.

Opening today in cinemas everywhere, X-Men: First Class' early promo materials were met with some skepticism from comics fans and mainstream movie-goers alike, but increasingly positive word-of-mouth and ever more revealing previews (not to mention inspiring contributions from Marvel fans) and production artwork have made X-Men: First Class something that will very likely be a big hit with audiences over the weekend.

Directed by Matthew Vaughn and starring James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Rose Byrne, January Jones, Kevin Bacon and Oliver Platt, X-Men: First Class is in cinemas now.

X-Men: First Class charts the epic beginning of the X-Men saga, and reveals a secret history of famous global events. Before mutants had revealed themselves to the world, and before Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Not archenemies, they were instead at first the closest of friends, working together with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to prevent nuclear Armageddon. In the process, a grave rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto's Brotherhood and Professor X's X-Men.

X-Men First Class Clip – Training Montage
June 3, 2011 By David Sztypuljak

We’ve gone X-Men: First Class crazy over the past few months for the simple reason that we love it. You can see why by reading Adam’s review of the movie here. Twentieth Century Fox have sent over this brand new clip for the movie which is called Training Montage and does what it says on the tin.

X-Men: First Class is directed by Matthew Vaughn (who we caught up with yesterday and the fruits will appear on HeyUGuys in the next few days), produced by Lauren Shuler Donner, Bryan Singer, Simon Kinberg and stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Rose Byrne, January Jones, Oliver Platt, and Kevin Bacon. We should be seeing the film this week and are very excited about it!

Synopsis: X-MEN: FIRST CLASS charts the epic beginning of the X-Men saga, and reveals a secret history of famous global events. In the process, a grave rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto’s Brotherhood and Professor X’s X-Men.

X-Men: First Class is out NOW and we think you should go and see it!

Watch Magneto in drag in an adorable X-Men: First Class deleted scene

We're beyond sad that the "Michael Fassbender in a dress" scene was cut from the final version of X-Men: First Class. Thank Mrs. Doubtfire, Fox has released the full clip — which you can peep right now.

To watch a longer version of the clip, head over to EW where you can hear Charles Xavier call Erik Lehnsherr darling. Aw!

Want to See Michael Fassbender in Drag in X-Men: First Class?
3 days ago by Natalie Zutter

How did Michael Fassbender in a strappy blue dress and red wig end up on the cutting room floor? This clip from the X-Men: First Class deleted scenes is amazing. We’ve already seen the scene in the movie — it’s where James McAvoy and Michael’s characters go to a strip club to recruit Angel (Zoe Kravitz). In the theatrical version, we saw Magneto levitate a champagne bucket to demonstrate his powers — now we get to see Professor X in action.

MTV’s reaction makes it sound like Charles made Erik change into the outfit and back out in the space of a few seconds, or so it would have seemed to him. But we think that Charles was able to implant the image (Inception!) of “Dragneto” into Angel’s head, which would explain why Erik was so confused.

What Charles says to Erik is so proof that they have a secret love: “You’ve never looked better, darling.”

'X-Men: First Class' Deleted Scene Presents Magneto in Drag

Ever wanted to see Michael Fassbender in a dress? Me neither. Apparently, the opportunity will present itself in the form of a deleted scene from the soon to be released X-Men: First Class dvd, which comes out on September 9th.

9 times out 10, there's generally a good reason behind deleting a scene from a film, though for this particular scene I'm not sure what the rationale could've been.

The light-hearted scene involves Professor Xavier (James McAvoy) and Magneto (Fassbender) trying to recruit Angel (Zoe Kravitz) from the strip club where she works, and Professor X uses his mental powers to put her mind at ease. He makes it so Angel is convinced that she sees Magneto or Erik sitting across from dressed in drag with a wig, dress and the whole bit.

It seems odd that just a small portion of this delightful little scene ended up on the cutting room floor instead of in the theaterical version of the movie.

Check out the clip. I found it pretty amusing.

X-Men: First Class

Ever wanted to see what Michael Fassbender would look like in drag? First, why is that something you think about? And second, now you have your wish, no matter how creepy or odd this writer may think it is.

All joking aside, Entertainment Weekly has revealed a deleted scene from X-Men: First Class, which will be on the DVD and Blu-ray coming out on September 9, 2011.

The deleted clip is actually part of a segment from the movie that finds our two leads, Magneto (Fassbender) and Professor X (James McAvoy), in a club hunting down a mutant named Angel. Magneto demonstrates his power in order to convince her that they too are, different, while [here's the deleted snippet] Professor X makes Angel believe that she is seeing Magneto in drag. And yup, it’s as odd as one would expect it.

Personally, I actually kind of dig the scene, and are unsure why it was left on the cutting room floor. I think it adds a really humorous beat into what was an already entertaining film. It’s not the greatest scene ever, but I do really quite like it. What do you think?
