U.K. Trailer And (Relatively) New Poster For Steven Soderbergh’s ‘Haywire’

With the theatrical window of “Contagion” still wrapping up as we speak, we can now start to turn our attention to the next directorial effort of Steven Soderbergh; the prolific helmer’s female-driven actioner “Haywire” starring former MMA-star Gina Carano is already in the can (and, having shot before “Contagion,” has been for a while) and awaiting its January unveiling.

Wetting our appetites here is a new U.K trailer for the film, which admittedly doesn’t feature anything significantly new, and a new poster, which looks to be just a reworked version of the one we debuted a while back. Even so, another look at the cast Soderbergh has managed for conjure up here—which features Antonio Banderas, Michael Douglas, Ewan McGregor, Channing Tatum and man-of-the-hour Michael Fassbender—is certainly worth a revisit and reminder as it’s release is sure to be somewhat lost amongst the award season.

“Haywire” hits on January 20 with Soderbergh, in typical fashion, already lensing his next film: buddy-stripper film “Magic Mike” starring Tatum and newcomer Alex Pettyfer, among others. Poster and trailer after the jump. [FilmStage/UGO]
