As I read a lot of comments on various forums about why this film was good and why that one failed, I wondered...
What makes a good film in your opinion?
Besides a good story, good acting, a tried and true director? What makes one director better than another?
What makes a good plot?
What makes you stay in your seat for three hours for one film?
What makes for good storytelling?
Why does the audience consider PG-13, a dumbed down film? In the UK it would be 12A or 12. Canada-14, Australia, M maybe.
Does a film really have to have sex and/or violence to be a good film?
