Cast As The Lead Next To Brad Pitt. Not Bad: Who Is Scoot McNairy & Why Is He Suddenly Everywhere?

Momentum. In terms of building a career, there’s nothing quite like it, and it’s something we’ve commented on before—with the rise of names like Tom Hardy, Michael Fassbender and Taylor Kitsch, actors who are, as yet, unproven as box office draws, and yet find themselves linked to every high-profile role in town. The more times they crop up on these wishlists, the hotter they become—the snowball effect, essentially.

The latest name to join them literally overnight is Scoot McNairy. The actor, who starred in one of the big sleeper hits of last year, Gareth Edwards’ micro-budget creature flick “Monsters,” last night was announced as having won the second lead in The Playlist’s single most anticipated film of the next few years, “Cogan’s Trade,” Andrew Dominik‘s follow-up to “The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford.” The crime caper also stars Brad Pitt, James Gandolfini, Sam Rockwell, Bella Heathcoate, Ray Liotta, Richard Jenkins, Vincent Curatola and fellow new addition Ben Mendelsohn (from the Aussie hit, “Animal Kingdom”).

Furthermore, McNairy was also said to be in the running for two potential tentpoles: Ridley Scott‘s sci-fi epic “Prometheus,” in which the actor would play the love interest of lead Noomi Rapace, joining Fassbender and Charlize Theron in the cast; and “Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter,” in which he’d play Joshua Speed, the sidekick to the titular presidential hero to be played by Benjamin Walker with Anthony Mackie and Dominic Cooper also on board. So who is McNairy, and why’s he suddenly the latest actor to be linked to everything going?

McNairy’s been working solidly for almost a decade, with early brief roles in pictures like the Val Kilmer crime drama “Wonderland,” indie flick “D.E.B.S,” teen comedy “Sleepover” and the Lindsay Lohan vehicle “Herbie: Fully Loaded.” Parts in the ensemble drama “Bobby” and Terry Zwigoff’s “Art School Confidential” followed, as well as guest roles on “Six Feet Under” and the sitcom “Jake In Progress” and an appearance in the video for Regina Spektor‘s “Fidelity,” but it was as the lead in the well-regarded “In Search of a Midnight Kiss” that the actor started to get noticed.

Working with that writer-director Alex Holdridge, whom he’d already worked with on the low-budget features “Wrong Numbers” and “Sexless,” McNairy produced the picture, and was involved from the ground up. While we have our share of problems with the kinda twee, kinda cliche-indie-pop-song-rolled-up-into-a-movie indie flick, it picked up mostly strong reviews and managed to be a fairly modest sleeper hit on its release in 2008, winning the John Cassavetes Award at the Independent Spirit Awards the next year.

The picture led to further TV work on “My Name Is Earl,” “The Shield” and most, notably, a recurring role on the Fox procedural “Bones,” but it was the film’s surprise success in the U.K. that saw McNairy find the role he’s now best known for. Vertigo, who distributed “In Search of a Midnight Kiss” in Britain, were backing a low-budget monster movie from Gareth Edwards, who was looking for a real-life American couple to play the leads in his picture.

Vertigo suggested McNairy, who in turn suggested his girlfriend Whitney Able (”All the Boys Love Mandy Lane”). As impressive as Edwards’ low-budget effects are in “Monsters,” it’s their performances that make the film so effective—Able was sympathetic, steely and vulnerable, while McNairy brought an unusual energy and a certain cynicism to his role, so it’s no surprise that it has led to great things for the duo.

In the meantime, McNairy’s completed a half-dozen independent pictures, including “Wes and Ella,” “Dragon Day” and “Angry White Man,” and he’s working with Vertigo again on the horror flick “A Night in the Woods.” But it looks like Hollywood will sweep him up for the next few years, and we’re sure even greater things are on their way for him. But yeah, talk about someone you’ve barely heard of becoming a leading actor next to Brad Pitt? Not a bad vault.

We’ll admit, we curse Hollywood’s lack of imagination when it comes to the films they greenlight, but when it comes to picking untested talent for major projects, they’re obviously unafraid to play it risky. Ok, this somewhat patently untrue. Hollywood loves a cheap actor who could become the next big thing so they’re betting big on a future investment, but their calculated move is our gain as we do get to see some new faces in roles that aren’t just going to tired old names.

Noomi Rapace says Weaver was a heroine to her

Digital Spy had a chance to speak to Noomi Rapace at this week's Elle Style Awards in London, where she picked up the Next Breakthrough Talent award.

When asked about Sigourney Weaver, Rapace admitted that Weaver has been an inspiration to her.

"She was a heroine for me in my childhood and my teenage years."

Nothing new or was said regarding Prometheus, but she does seem excited about the project:

"It's fantastic, the script is amazing and Ridley is incredible, so I can't wait to start."

Michael Fassbender and More Join Prometheus

Michael Fassbender seems to be in everything nowadays, and now he’s been confirmed to join in Ridley Scott’s Prometheus.

He joins up with three fellow actors, namely Idris Elba, Sean Harris and Kate Dickie who are also being added to the cast today, alongside previously confirmed Noomi Rapace and Charlize Theron. Idris Elba should need no introduction at this point, having been cast for Thor as Heimdall. Sean Harris is probably best known for his role in Christopher Smith’s film Creep, and Kate Dickie has a number of British movies to her name.

The role that Michael Fassbender will be playing – and the entire plot, for that matter! – is still quite secret and mysterious. We have it on good authority that he will be playing an android, and when asked what he thought about the movie, he said:

It’s a different story, but it’s also got the traditional roots. Alien fans will recognize things in it. It’s not ignoring Alien, there’s still a link to that world. But it’s a different story. It’s definitely connected, though.

Noomi Rapace Gives the Skinny on Her Character in Prometheus

While we're still trying to nail down just what exactly Ridley Scott's Alien prequel Prometheus is (no easy task mind you), we are slowing learning about some of the film's characters. Case in point - Noomi Rapace's (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo character of protagonist Elizabeth Shaw.

In an interview with MTV Rapace revealed the following about her character. "She's definitely her own [character]," Rapace told MTV adding that Prometheus does indeed have connections to the Alien franchise.

"She's a scientist and is very bright," she continued. "She's a believer. I think there are some similarities, but she's very much her own. I don't think people will compare her so much to Ripley once they see the movie."

This is truly getting interesting. For more dig on the entire interview below.

Prometheus stars Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, Rafe Spall, Idris Elba, Sean Harris and Kate Dickie. Look for it in theatres on June 8th, 2012.

Noomi Rapace talks ‘Prometheus’; Rafe Spall Joins the Cast
Mar 7, 2011 by Chris Schrader

Noomi Rapace discusses her role in ‘Prometheus’ – including the inevitable comparisons fans will make to Ripley. Meanwhile, English actor Rafe Spall has joined the cast in an unspecified role.

Prometheus Noomi Rapace Rafe Spall

Ridley Scott is preparing for what’s shaping up to be a rather ambitious return to the sci-fi genre with Prometheus – a film that is a quasi-prequel to his 1979 classic Alien. While Scott has been decidedly vague regarding the film’s plot, one thing is certain – the prolific filmmaker has surrounded himself with an extremely talented group of actors.

In addition to Noomi Rapace, Charlize Theron, and Michael Fassbender, Prometheus recently added Idris Elba, Sean Harris, and Kate Dickie to its roster. Now, the Daily Mail is reporting that English actor Rafe Spall has joined the cast as well.

Spall is the son of character actor Timothy Spall and is probably best known for his appearances in Edgar Wright’s Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz. He also appeared in Wright’s Grindhouse trailer, Don’t. There’s no word yet on what specifically his role in the film will be.

Meanwhile, Rapace recently sat down with MTV on the set of Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows and opened up about her character in Prometheus. She explains that she’ll have very little time between projects and that Prometheus‘ shooting schedule will be quite extensive:

“I’m jumping into that straight off of ['Sherlock Holmes 2']. My character’s name is Elizabeth Shaw, and I’ll step into her shoes in March and be her for six months or something. It’s quite a long shoot. It’s unbelievable.”

Rapace also praised Scott and revealed that he’s been a true collaborator as they continue the process of fleshing out her character:

“It’s a great honor and I’m really excited … I’ve met him maybe seven or eight times and he’s so passionate. He really loves movies. He watches movies every night. He’s seen everything. We had a long chat on the phone — he’s in LA now — about my character. I have many ideas and he has many ideas, and now we’re starting to search and try to find her.”

Ridley Scott's Prometheus Alien Prequel

Starring as the strong female lead in a movie that’s tied to the Alien franchise will no doubt invite comparisons to Sigourney Weaver’s iconic performance as Ripley – but it doesn’t sound like Rapace is too worried.

Although Shaw may have certain similarities to Ripley, Rapace insists that the character will be able to stand on her own:

“She’s definitely her own [character] … She’s a scientist and is very bright … She’s a believer. I think there are some similarities, but she’s very much her own. I don’t think people will compare her so much to Ripley once they actually see the movie.”

Rapace also confirms what her co-star Michael Fassbender has already told us twice – Prometheus is definitely connected to the Alien universe. When coupled with reports that the Space Jockeys and xenomorphs will be making an appearance in the film, it seems strange to me that Scott continues to be so coy about that fact.

However strong or loose that connection ultimately turns out to be, Prometheus has already become one of my most highly-anticipated upcoming movies. Scott has assembled a first-rate cast and I can’t wait until we learn more about what he has in store for us.

Prometheus is scheduled to hit theaters on June 8, 2012.

Logan Marshall-Green Joins Prometheus
Published on March 15, 2011 by Martyn Conterio

Television and film actor Logan Marshall-Green has joined the cast of Ridley Scott’s sci-fi horror film, Prometheus. He’ll play a character called Holloway and it is rumoured he’ll provide a love interest for Noomi Rapace’s Elizabeth Shaw.

The American thesp will be joining an excellent crew including Michael Fassbender, Sean Harris, Idris Elba, Kate Dickie and Charlize Theron. Not bad that. Empire report the actor read the script with a security guard standing next to him. That just shows the Christopher Nolan-like lengths this production is going to in order to keep the plot under wraps.

Given that this is a film which may or may be not set in the world of the xenomorph or its progeny, one can expect the romantic subplot between Holloway and Shaw won’t last very long. Come on, it’s a sci-fi horror film – we think … we hope.

Marshall-Green, who to be honest I’ve never heard of, has appeared in the likes of The OC, 24 and Julie Taymor’s Beatles musical, Across The Universe. The script for Prometheus has been written by Lost writer Damon Lindelof and sees Sir Ridley Of Scott returning to call the shots – CG or otherwise.

Recently in an interview Noomi Rapace spoke about her role as Elizabeth Shaw:

“It’s a great honor and I’m really excited. I’ve met [Scott] maybe seven or eight times and he’s so passionate. He really loves movies. He watches movies every night. He’s seen everything. We had a long chat on the phone — he’s in LA now — about my character. I have many ideas and he has many ideas, and now we’re starting to search and try to find her.”

The actress went on to describe her character to MTV without really saying much:

“She’s definitely her own [character]. She’s a scientist and is very bright. She’s a believer. I think there are some similarities, but she’s very much her own. I don’t think people will compare her so much to Ripley once they see the movie.”

You can watch the interview with Rapace here.

A production insider recently revealed the infamous Space Jockey will definitely be making an appearance and it’ll be in animatronic form:

“I’ve had further confirmation that the Space Jockey creature is definitely in Prometheus and has been built as an eight foot animatronic. I’ve also had it confirmed that HR Giger is working on the project but only in an advisory capacity. By the way, people are going to be in for a shock when they sit down to watch Prometheus and there’s an enormous semi-human head piloting a spaceship.”

Last year Scott told Deadline and he had this to say on the project:

“While Alien was indeed the jumping off point for this project, out of the creative process evolved a new, grand mythology and universe in which this original story takes place. The keen fan will recognize strands of Alien’s DNA, so to speak, but the ideas tackled in this film are unique, large and provocative. I couldn’t be more pleased to have found the singular tale I’d been searching for, and finally return to this genre that’s so close to my heart.”

Prometheus is set for release from 8th June, 2012.

EXCLUSIVE: IS GUY PEARCE IN PROMETHEUS? (UPDATED)

By Nick Nunziata · 04.28.2011 · Filmstrip, Movie News

**Note: I’ve gotten two more corroborating emails saying that yes Guy Pearce is in the flick.

Prometheus looks to be the most unmissable film of 2012. It has the potential to vitalize the most wonderful [and judging from most of the recent films misused] sci-fi series around and with Ridley Scott at the helm and seemingly aggressively making his first big genre stamp in a long time it’ll at least be intriguing. It’ll be amazing, that’s my guess. Fassbender. Elba. Amazing. Rapace… the jury is still out. Theron, case by case. But Fassbender and Elba are masters. And I just got an email sent to me from someone going by the name Brain Blessed that purports this juicy potential:

Guy Pearce. In an Alien movie. If true, what an amazing possibility. I have had the privilege of watching the man act and seen the Blue Collar work ethic he brings (ie: driving himself to set, being there early, and forging friendships with everyone) and as anyone whose seen his work on the big screen can attest: He improves anything he’s associated with.

Here’s an excerpted clip from the email, with some things changed to protect:

“Evening Nick, my mate is working on Prometheus as OMITTED and met Guy Pierce on set today. She’s previously worked on OMITTED, OMITTED and OMITTED and I’ve no reason to believe she’s lying. I’ve not read anywhere about Guy being cast so thought it might interest you.“

Look, I don’t know the emailer. It could be a huge ball of bullshit. It could be a joke.

But it could be true and it could be amazing. I’ve got some feelers out to see if we can get hard evidence but for now cross your fingers and remember where you heard it first.

Confirmed: Guy Pearce Joins Ridley Scott’s ‘Prometheus’

Rumors had been flying around for the past few days about Guy Pearce taking a role in Ridley Scott’s highly anticipated and top-secret “Prometheus” after CHUD caught wind of some intel from their sources. We put in a few calls and it turns out that morsel of info is bang on.

The Playlist has confirmed with reps for the actor, that Guy Pearce has joined “Prometheus.” There’s no word yet on what his role in the film is, but he’s joining an already solid cast in the film that both is and isn’t a direct prequel to “Alien”—essentially, it will take place in the same world with some connective DNA stringing the two films together, but how much more than that remains to be seen.

Pearce joins Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, Idris Elba, Sean Harris, Kate Dickie, Rafe Spall and Logan Marshall-Green in the film that is currently in the midst of a six-month shoot that started in Toronto and is currently in front of cameras on soundstages in London. The film will hit theaters on June 8, 2012.

Rafe Spall talks a bit more about Prometheus
Aug 23
2011

After possibly spoiling his character’s fate with an interview with the Guardian, Rafe Spall has given the Independant a little nugget about his Prometheus character, as well as an indication of the tight security surrounding the production

I play a scientist… I got given an e-mail about what I’m allowed to say about this and what I’m. not allowed to say, but I haven’t. read it yet so I’d better be careful.

You can read the (very interesting) full interview here.

Prometheus is directed by Ridley Scott, from a screenplay by Damon Lindelof, based on an earlier, abandoned Alien prequel script by Jon Spaihts. The film also stars Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, Idris Elba, Sean Harris, Rafe Spall, Logan Marshall-Green, Ben Foster, Patrick Wilson and Kate Dickie, and is due for release on June 8th 2012.

Sigourney Weaver talks Ridley Scott's Prometheus

“I feel it’s in good hands”

By Matt Chapman | Sep 19th 2011

Sigourney Weaver says she has spoken to Ridley Scott about Prometheus and is much more positive about the Alien prequel (which she's not in) than Ghostbusters 3 (which she would be).

“I actually talked to Ridley about this very idea and I’m delighted he’s doing it. I feel it’s in good hands. It’s a wonderful franchise and if they can invigorate the creature, it could have another life,” Weaver told Outbreak Hollywood.

“When you find [the alien] in the first movie with what we call the Space Jockey, the kind of strange creature with the elephant face… anyway, the eggs were in its ship, so where do they come from? So it’s like kind of following that storyline with, I hope, another great ensemble.”

We all know what happens when you return that ship – your colony gets wiped out. Here's hoping Scott knows what he's doing.

Noomi Rapace Reveals Details About Her Character in Ridley Scott's Prometheus
A Norwegian newspaper recently sat down with Noomi Rapace (The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo) who will be starring in Ridley Scott's mysterious science fiction movie.

This a tremendous cast that Ridley Scott has put together for this prequel to Alien. I can't wait to see Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, and Noomi Rapace sharing scenes together, toss in Idris Elba and only the script could prevent this from being an enjoyable film. Little is known about the movie so far, and FOX has done an outstanding job of snuffing out as much of the leaked info as possible. This is the first time that we have some insight into the character that Noomi will be playing.

"I play Elizabeth Shaw, researcher and archaeologist. She's British but was raised in Africa because her father was a missionary. From him she learned to believe in God, and she has a strong inner self.

She is the most complete person I have ever played. She has an inner light. She's very stubborn and determined.

She lost her parents when she was a child, so she's been alone from a young age. But she's very intelligent. I know that when one has to survive alone from an early age, one becomes strong.

But also fragile, because the hurt child within her hasn't been able to evolve in a natural way. You get easily hurt emotionally. She's full of hope, a dreamer, a little naive.

Halfway through the movie a lot of things happen and she turns into a fighter. Another part of her comes to life"

Does her character have anything in common with Ellen Ripley?

"Yes, absolutely! There is a relationship there. I saw 'Alien' as a teenager and was blown away. Can it really be like that? She was the first female star. With 'Alien' and 'Thelma and Loise', Ridley has created a lot of hope and dreams"

Official Synopsis -Ridley Scott, director of 'Alien' and 'Blade Runner,' returns to the genre he helped define. With 'Prometheus', he creates a groundbreaking mythology, in which a team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.

Prometheus stars Noomi Rapace, Charlize Theron, Idris Elba, Logan Marshall-Green, Ben Foster, and Michael Fassbender.

Prometheus will hit theaters on June 8th, 2012!

Noomi Rapace Details Her Role In 'Prometheus'
By Andrew Weymes on October 07, 2011

Noomi Rapace Details Her Role In 'Prometheus' Everyone involved with 'Prometheus' is being a lot more free with information as of late. The mysterious stage is over and the promotional stage is getting in gear. Recently, the characters of Michael Fassbender and Charlize Theron were detailed in depth by screenwriter working on the film, Damon Lindelof.

Another actress in the film, Noomi Rapace was recently interviewed by a Norweigan newspaper. Comic Book Movie translated the character profile she gave them. It reads:

Another part of her comes to life."

As if that description couldn't have been used to describe Sigourney Weaver's Ellen Ripley from the 'Alien' series, Rapace was asked if the two characters shared any similarities. Her response:

"Yes, absolutely! There is a relationship there. I saw 'Alien' as a teenager and was blown away. Can it really be like that? She was the first female star. With 'Alien' and 'Thelma and Loise', Ridley has created a lot of hope and dreams."

From director Ridley Scott -- who also directed 'Thelma & Louise' in case the reference was lost on anyone -- 'Prometheus' is set to hit theaters next summer on June 8, 2012.

Rafe Spall Talks About Secretive ‘Prometheus’ Film in Interview

October 26, 2011

Actor Rafe Spall recently sat down on the BBC morning show Something for the Weekend and talked a bit about Ridley Scott’s super-secretive film project, Prometheus. Spall confirms that the film is indeed a part of the Alien universe and briefly comments on the level of secrecy surrounding the project.

Be sure to check out video of the full BBC interview with Rafe Spall below.

Ob how the film is part of the Alien universe –

[Ridley Scott] directed the first Alien, and this is… I’ve been sent an e-mail about what I’m allowed to say and what I’m not allowed to say and I haven’t read the e-mail. (laughs).

It’s out next June, and it’s part of the Alien franchise. I’m in it, and Charlize Theron, Noomi Rapace and Michael Fassbender.

I think fans of the franchise will love it. Alien is one of the best films ever made, and it’s a real buzz to be in a space suit on an ‘Alien’ set with Ridley Scott coming and speaking to you.
It’s incredible. That’s why I wanted to be an actor, to be in a space suit on an ‘Alien’ set.

Talking about the secrecy surrounding the project –

I’ve seen nothing. Really, they keep it all under closed wraps and don’t let anyone see anything [...] There’s a few bits and pieces (referring to the leaked stills and images), but they want to keep it secret. They’re very protective of it.

Directed by Ridley Scott, Prometheus will star Prometheus stars Noomi Rapace, Charlize Theron, Idris Elba, Logan Marshall-Green, Ben Foster, and Michael Fassbender and is expected to arrive in theaters on June 8th, 2012.

Benedict Wong talking Prometheus

February 18, 2012

by Jonesy

Benedict Wong was a guest on the Peter Serafionwicz Show on the BBC earlier today and we have a rough transcript of the Prometheus relevant elements. It’s quite light in tone and is an interesting read.

But before we get into the heart of this article, we’d like to share that Wong recently confirmed through his Twitter account that his character is indeed named Ravel (and thus the IMDb entry not being a false one). Tweet source.

All right, let’s begin the transcript:

PS – …And Benny you’re going to be in the new Ridley Scott film Prometheus.
BW – I don’t know if I can confirm that.
PS – You can don’t be silly.
BW – I just got confirmation I can confirm that.
PS – So go on tell us about it, it”s the prequel to alien.
BW – Yeah its before, so its in old space, obviously set in the future and before the time of alien, I can”t really tell you much.
BW – I’ll tell you what why dont we do some spoilers.
PS – 10 seconds of spoilers.
BW – 10 seconds of spoilers.
PS – Is there a space ship in it?
BW – Yeah
PS – Is there an alien in it?
BW – It’s a bit…y’know how you’ve got..so well its like an alien rom com of how the mum and dad met, and he’s got a limp, and hes a ghost.
PS – Well that sounds great.
BW – Exclusive.
———————————————-
PS – So, Ben…Prometheus, lets talk properly about this, cause I’m real super excited about it, Alien the film Alien is in my top 10, I wasn’t really mad on any of the other alien films.
BW – No nor me.
PS – Umm i think that one is just a pure classic and it seems like that’s a true prequel to that one.
BW – Yeah and I think that’s what Ridley wants.
BW – But its gonna be and I think people got very excited its gonna be in 3d so get to the Imax.
…..
BW – Well if you got very excited about the 3D usage in Avatar, it”s gonna be like the next level now, the type of cameras they’re using, I dunno what cameras they are but the technicians that use them cameras are really excited about them.
PS – But didn’t you say that Ridley was watching the takes back in 3D, with glasses on, on a special monitor.
BW – Occasionally when you do you a take, and what I sort of like is to ask for PPB a personal play back, so I sat down I put the glasses on and Ridley caught me, but it was fine, he just cranked it up and it looks fantastic.
PS – Who else is in it B?
BW – Uh Michael Fassbender is in it, Noomi Rapace, Kate Dickie, Emun Elliot – we both fly the ship- there’s a little bit of insight.
PS – Is the design of the ship is it like pre-Alien with big clackety clack keyboards and computers and stuff?
BW – The first day we started we were a bit new, y’know first day at school but when we first walked up the spaceship I just remembered the first steps that I took and you could hear the metal grill.
PS – Wow.
PS – Anyway I cant wait for this film.
BW – June time.

Thanks to bruceriach for the lead and Aeus for the transcript!

Guy Pearce Is Peter Weyland In PROMETHEUS?

PrometheusI hate to be the party breaker, but this time I have a pleasure to inform you that Guy Pearce plays an entrepreneur called Peter Weyland who actually owns the Prometheus. Yeah, Prometheus, I’m talking about Ridley Scott‘s upcoming science fiction epic which is set to open on June 8, 2012.

That’s exactly what director Ridley Scott revealed in an interview with a Hungarian Mozinezo where he said:

“When the first Alien movie and Blade Runner were made, I thought that in the near future the world will be owned by large companies. This is why we have the Tyrell Corporation in Blade Runner, and Weyland-Yutani in Alien. They sent the Nostromo spaceship.

The Prometheus is owned by an entrepreneur called Peter Weyland, and is played by Guy Pearce. That’s the connection between the two films, and nothing more. Prometheus is a new film, a new world, and is full of new ideas. And of course new monsters as well.”

I will once again remind you that Scott returns to the genre he helped define, creating an original science fiction epic set in the most dangerous corners of the universe. The film takes a team of scientists and explorers on a thrilling journey that will test their physical and mental limits and strand them on a distant world, where they will discover the answers to our most profound questions and to life’s ultimate mystery.

Prometheus also stars Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Idris Elba, Logan Marshall-Green and Charlize Theron.
