Fassbender si sente un po' Audrey?

La 68° Mostra del Cinema di Venezia sarà ricordata anche per Michael Fassbender e la sua conturbante performance in Shame di Steve McQueen, che gli è valsa la Coppa Volpi come miglior attore.

«Steve è il mio mentore: è lui che ha cambiato la mia vita, chiamandomi nel 2007 per Hunger e dandomi così la possibilità di fare questo lavoro» - ha dichiarato l'interprete tedesco-irlandese - «Ha iniziato a parlarmi del progetto di Shame nel 2009 e io ho subito accettato di farne parte, perchè lui ama toccare argomenti di cui non si parla mai ma che sono in linea con ciò che viviamo oggi».
E aggiunge: «Le reazioni positive al film confermano che avevamo ragione. E' fantastico essere qui!».

Talmente fantastico che il bel Michael, prima di dedicarsi ai festeggiamenti, ha pensato bene di intonare Moon River in apertura di conferenza stampa: che si sentisse un po' come Audrey Hepburn in Colazione da Tiffany? Forse, visto che poi qualcuno è sicuro di averlo visto passeggiare da solo a tarda notte per il Lido, alticcio e con la sua bella Coppa Volpi in mano. Un po' come Miss Hepburn nel film ormai cinquantenario, in abito da sera con brioche e cappuccino in una città deserta sulla via per le vetrine di Tiffany.
