Top Ten Movie Heroes Picked by Romance Writers
Here's another survey from some of our favorite romance authors on their most adored movie heroes:

Jerrica Knight-Catania

I know that everyone is always drooling and salivating over Mr. Darcy, especially the Colin Firth version of him. And while I love Colin Firth, I just can't find a place in my heart for Mr. Darcy. Why? Because Mr. Knightly is taking up too much space there. Specifically the Jeremy Northam version. Okay, so his nose is a bit long, and maybe he's a weensie bit short, but I love him. I love the way he scolds Emma for being awful to poor Miss Bates, yet can't help but love her in spite of all her faults. But it was when he danced with Harriet at the ball that I really fell in love with him. Yes, I'm a sucker for a Beta Hero Smile

"Han Solo, hands down. How can you resist that rakish charm and the complete change of character by the end of the trilogy. Him or Indiana Jones, smart, capable, ingenious. I could watch Harrison Ford paint a bathroom. Though Liam Neeson as Rob Roy was pretty dang awesome too.

Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford-Indiana Jones movies x4)
Dr. Robert Campbell (Sean Connery-Medicine Man)
Han Solo (Harrison Ford-Star Wars)
Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel-Fast and Furious movies)

John Book (Harrison Ford-Witness)
Paul Sutton (Keanu Reeves-A Walk in the Clouds)

My top ten movie heroes of all time:

Suzanne Rock

I love old Hollywood movies. In fact, my first published novel, Spyder's Web, has a masquerade party that is very film noir, and a homage to old Hollywood. As a result, most of my favorite actors are from classic movies that have been around for a while.

1) Humphrey Bogart
2) Sean Connery
3) Marlon Brando
4) Charlton Heston
5) Clint Eastwood
6) Jack Nicholson
7) Paul Newman
Cool Robert De Niro
9) Robert Redford
10) Harrison Ford

This is my list, compiled with help from Andee Bram. It's not complete, there are so many fantastic heroes out there, but it's someplace to start:

Clark Gable as Rhett Butler
Errol Flynn in Robin Hood, or anything else *blushes*
Humphrey Bogart in almost anything
Sean Connery as James Bond
Richard Gere in “An Officer and a Gentleman”
Bill Pullman in “While You Were Sleeping”
Harrison Ford in almost anything, but especially as Han Solo
Edward Norton in “The Painted Veil” and “The Illusionist”
Robert Pattinson in the "Twilight" series
Michael Fassbender in “Jane Eyre” (playing now)

Who did we miss? Please give me your additions in a comment.
Do you agree with adding Jeff Bridges from "True Grit"?

P.S. Read brand new 5 "Spider" review of "Sunny Days, Moonlit Nights" at WebbWeaver book review site http://webbweaver-zelda555.blogspot.com/
