Filming in Spain

Here's something that says that they are filming in Spain already:

If the caption had not said that the man in this photo was Antonio Banderas I would have never guessed it! The 29-year-old was photographed on the set of his new movie Knockout with some friends in Barcelona, Spain earlier today.
lol...they've also taken 20 years off Antonio's age.

http://icydk.com/2010/02/23/a-heavily-bearded-antonio-banderas-hangs-around-the-set-of-his-upcoming-film-knockout-with-a-couple-friends/
A heavily-bearded Antonio Banderas hangs around the set of his upcoming film, “Knockout,” with a couple friends.
Here’s what I could find on Knockout!
The impressive ensemble cast for “Knockout,” Steven Soderbergh’s upcoming action spy thriller starring mixed martial arts expert Gina Carano, has just added two more names to the mix.
According to The Playlist, “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra” star Channing Tatum has joined the cast of “Knockout,” while Antonio Banderas is currently in talks to participate in the film.
Tatum has a role that is “relatively small in the scope of things,” playing a member of the special ops squadron that Mallory Kane — the lead character played by Carano — belongs to. Tatum’s character Aaron is tasked with tracking Kane down after she’s double-crossed and set up for a murder.
Banderas, meanwhile, is in discussions to play the head of a European black-ops unit.
The latest report has some new insight into the film’s previously cast actors. Michael Fassbender — already known to be part of Kane’s team — will play an “untrustworthy” member of the squadron. Michael Douglas plays a Brian Cox type, but ultimately aligns himself with Kane. Ewan McGregor’s character is the owner of the special ops squadron and a former lover of Kane’s, but that’s not stopping him from setting her up in the first place. Dennis Quaid’s role was previously unknown, but now it’s clear that he’ll play Kane’s father.
Obviously, Soderbergh is going the “Ocean’s Eleven” route for his latest film — that is, he’s casting as many known quantities as possible, whether they’re A-list actors or just familiar faces that will pop on the screen. I’m certainly impressed by the cast so far and can’t wait to see who else joins the “Knockout” party.

Set Pics and Videos from Steven Soderbergh's KNOCKOUT - Gina Carano, Ewan McGregor and Antonio Banderas

We've got our first look at Steven Soderbergh's next film Knockout. The photo's from the set includes images of MMA fighter Gina Carano, Ewan McGreggor, and Antonio Banderas.
This is Gina Carano first film and in it she plays a black ops soldier that is double crossed by a member of her team. Her character, Mallory Kane, goes on a mission to uncover who has set her up to take the fall for a job that goes bad and involves a murder.
I'm really looking forward to seeing this film, Soderbergh seems very excited about it. The guy is a great filmmaker and if anyone can make a bad-ass action-spy thriller, it's him. Here is how he's described the film:
My desire is for it to be a very realistic portrayal of somebody who gets hired, as these people do, by the government, to go and perform certain duties that it would be inappropriate to give to the military. That could be anything from a hostage-grab to surveillance to an actual killing...
A combination of a Bond movie and Point Blank, more on the scale of From Russian With Love than, you know, Quantum of Solace... Something where the characters and the story are as prominent as the action stuff.
The movie also co-stars Channing Tatum, Bill Paxton, Michael Douglas, Michael Fassbender, Michael Angarano and Matthieu Kassovitz.
The film is currently in production, and being shot in Barcelona, Dublin, Ireland and New Mexico. A short clip of the Dublin shoot was released recently and features Carano running in front of a couple SWAT SUV's.
