The new magnificent drama TIC poster off âJane Eyre âappears and makes so the side ground

One of the brightest stars of this year so far has to be Mia Wasikowska. She's spreading her acting wings once more, this time in Cary Fukunaga's version of "Jane Eyre." The film includes a cast with the likes of Michael Fassbender, Jamie Bell, Judi Dench, Imogen Poots and Sally Hawkins. Jane Eyre flees Thornfield House, where she works as a governess for wealthy Edward Rochester. The isolated and imposing residence - and Mr. Rochester's coldness - have sorely tested the young woman's resilience, forged years earlier when she was orphaned. As Jane reflects upon her past and recovers her natural curiosity, she will return to Mr. Rochester - and the terrible secret that he is hiding... "Jane Eyre" will make it's way into limited theaters on March 11th, 2011. Look at the simple but bold and affective poster below.

Unique New Poster for Jane Eyre

Here is the first poster for Cary Fukunaga's take on the Jane Austen classic Jane Eyre starring Mia Wasikowska, Jamie Bell, Dame Judi Dench, and Michael Fassbender.

It's a striking, intriguing poster, essentially a work of wondrous art as Wasikowska displays the titular character in a sullen and tragic way with just one glimpse of her face. Despite the horridness of the film itself, her British accent in Alice in Wonderland was flawless, so we can look forward to a phenomenal leading performance.

Costume dramas usually equate to Oscar buzz, at least early on, but the supposed March release doesn't bode well for the film on that front. Regardless, we can expect this to be one of the rare worthwhile pictures of moviegoer's often-dreaded first quarter of the year. Check out a larger version of the poster after the jump.

Beautiful Poster & Synopsis Lands For ‘Jane Eyre’ With Mia Wasikowska & Michael Fassbender

A film we have right at the top of our must-see list for next year is Cary Fukunaga‘s adaptation of Charlotte Brontë‘s “Jane Eyre.”

Fukunaga is making his sophomore feature directorial effort after breaking out in a huge way with the excellent “Sin Nombre,” and he got a filmmaker’s dream for a cast. The film stars Mia Wasikowska as the titular character and Michael Fassbender in the role of Rochester in the classic Brontë tale of a young governess, Eyre, who falls in love with her employer, Rochester, but discovers he harbors a dark secret. Co-starring will be the stellar likes of Jamie Bell, Judi Dench, Sally Hawkins, Imogen Poots, Holliday Grainger and Tamsin Merchant.

The film now has a beautiful poster, debuted by Focus Features on the film’s Facebook page, and if there is one slight niggling doubt we have about the film, it’s that March 11, 2011 release date, which seems like a very odd fit for a period picture. But, we definitely can’t wait. Check out the official synopsis after the jump:

Based on Charlotte Brontë’s classic novel, the romantic drama stars Mia Wasikowska (“Alice in Wonderland”) and Michael Fassbender (“Inglourious Basterds”) in the lead roles. In the story, Jane Eyre flees Thornfield House, where she works as a governess for wealthy Edward Rochester. The isolated and imposing residence – and Mr. Rochester’s coldness – have sorely tested the young woman’s resilience, forged years earlier when she was orphaned. As Jane reflects upon her past and recovers her natural curiosity, she will return to Mr. Rochester – and the terrible secret that he is hiding…

Jane Eyre

Now this is how you create a great poster! Focus Features has just unveiled a teaser poster on Facebook (via The Playlist) for Sin Nombre director Cary Fukunaga's new take on the Charlotte Brontë classic Jane Eyre. We've been hearing about this adaptation for a while, as Fukunaga is focusing "on the more gothic elements of the classic 19th century story." Starring in the lead is the immensely talented and cute-as-a-button Mia Wasikowska, seen above (in an early promo photo) and below on the poster as the titular Jane Eyre. This is only an early teaser poster, as we've still got a ways to go before this Jane Eyre hits theaters next March.

The isolated and imposing residence, and Rochester's coldness, have sorely tested the young woman's resilience, forged years earlier when she was orphaned. “Jane Eyre” poster, synopsis on Facebook

Hollywoodnews.com: Focus Features beefed up its presence on the Facebook fan page for Cary Fukunaga’s adaptation of Charlotte Brontë’s “Jane Eyre,” adding a plot synopsis and teasing the film’s first official poster. We have it below.

The oft-filmed “Jane Eyre” will be Fukunaga’s follow up to the critically acclaimed “Sin Nombre,” and it has a cast most would salivate over. Red-hot Mia Wasikowska, fresh off “Alice in Wonderland” and riding the wave for “The Kids Are All Right,” plays the title character. Michael Fassbender plays Edward Rochester. Jamie Bell, Sally Hawkins, Imogen Poots and Judi Dench round out the supporting cast.

The cast alone gets me in the door. Fukunaga’s “Sin Nombre” also showed his promise as a director, and while I’m not entirely enthused by yet another retelling of “Eyre,” I think that Fukunaga is the right person for the job.

“Jane Eyre” opens March 11, 2011.

Jane Eyre Poster
There aren't many bold or conceptual poster designs in the domestic realm these days, but this one-sheet stunner for Cary Fukunaga's Jane Eyre (Focus Features, 3.11) is the exception to the rule.

Of course, Mia Wasikowska will play the title role and the great Michael Fassbender will play Mr. Rochester (two inspired casting strokes if you ask me), but Cary Fukunaga is the big draw for me, who brought such a lived-in authenticity to his striking debut, Sin Nombre.

First off, this is about a million times better than The King’s Speech approach to selling period costume pics. The use of the profile shot of the title character is way more striking and visually interesting than the standard “floating heads” route, and the superimposition of Michael Fassbender‘s face over Wasikowska’s dress is a nice touch. Somber enough to make sure you know this is British, while also somehow modern and interesting. The only fault I can find is with the typography, which looks like it should be on the cover of Eat, Pray, Love, not a prestige drama.

Sheet-y Saturday.
Where we take a look at posters for upcoming features.

Everyone and their mom have discussed the poster for the new version of Jane Eyre and truth be told they have every reason to do so.

A wonderfully rich mix of using images, text and color to deliver a message, this simple cameo-like one sheet really makes me want to see the movie.

Mia Wasikowska seems to be out of The Piano and Michael Fassbender's gorgeous face forming like a mist of sorts in her makes for a great way to highlight the ghostly in the romance that fills this story.
