Michael Fassbender Does Drag in Deleted 'X-Men: First Class' Scene (VIDEO)

Those X-Men sure are a kinky bunch. Especially Professor X (James McAvoy), who we now know likes to envision his pal Magneto (Michael Fassbender) in drag.

In a just-released deleted scene from 'X-Men: First Class,' the Professor and Magneto go to a strip club to recruit Angel (Zoe Kravitz). She invites the big spenders to a private dance and Magento offers, "We'll show you ours if you show us yours." He's talking about mutant abilities, of course, and shows off his by levitating a champagne bucket.

When it's time for Professor X's demonstration, he has a little fun by making Angel see Magneto not in a snappy suit, but in a wig and sparkly blue dress. See the clip after the jump.


The deleted scene will be on the DVD, which comes out September 9.

We're guessing that you totally loved "X-Men: First Class" and saw it more times than you'd like to admit. But if you're like us, you probably walked out of the theater thinking, "Man, that movie was great! If only it also featured Michael Fassbender in fishnet stockings."

You're in luck! A deleted scene from the film has been posted by EW. Remember the strip club scene where Xavier (James McAvoy) and Magneto (Fassbender) lounged around as they recruited Zoe Kravitz's Angel to the X-Men squad?

Well. In an alternate version of the scene, Charles demonstrates his telepathy by making Angel believe that Magneto is dressed in drag, complete with go-go boots, a red wig, and sequins. Lots and lots of sparkly blue sequins.

It appears that even McAvoy could barely keep it together during this one.

The DVD comes out Sept. 9. You're welcome.

As if there weren’t enough X-Men: First Class-inspired Charles Xavier/Erik Lensherr slashfic floating around, a deleted scene included on the upcoming DVD takes the duo’s recruiting mission in a decidedly different direction.

Dropping in on Angel (Zoe Kravitz) at a strip club for a private game of “we’ll show you ours if you show us yours,” the two offer demonstrations of their mutant abilities, with Erik (Michael Fassbender) levitating a champagne bucket and Charles (James McAvoy) using telepathy to create an image of Magneto in a wig, dress and go-go boots.

“You’ve never looked more beautiful, darling,” Charles coos to a confused Erik. Slashfic writers … to your keyboards!

Entertainment Weekly has the clip which, alas, is not embeddable. X-Men: First Class arrives on DVD Sept. 9.

X-Men First Class charts the epic beginning of the X-Men saga, and reveals a secret history of famous global events. Before mutants had revealed themselves to the world, and before Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr​ took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Not archenemies, they were instead at first the closest of friends, working together with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to stop Armageddon. You always wonder what went was left on the cutting room floor for some of this year’s more succesful films. With X-Men: First Class, a Deleted/Extended Scene has been released early by Entertainment Weekly in advance of its September 9th release date.

Scene Summary: It all starts innocently enough: Eric Lehnsherr (Michael Fassbender) and Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) are on a recruiting mission for their new, government-sanctioned mutant strike force. Angel (Zoe Kravitz) is working as a stripper, and they want to get her to reveal how her dragonfly tattoos actually emerge from her body to form real wings. Magneto levitated a champagne bucket to show her his power, but Angel never quite got a demonstration of Professor X’s mindbending abilities.

In case you missed the X-Men prequel when it was in theaters this summer, X-Men: First Class is coming to DVD on September 9th. One of the deleted scenes has just been released to build anticipation.

Set during the Cuban missile crisis, First Class explores the early days of friendship between Professor X (James McAvoy) and Magneto (Michael Fassbender) and their recruitment of other mutants like them. During the movie, Professor X and Magneto head to a, er, "gentlemen's club" to meet with Angel Salvadore (Zoë Kravitz), who works there, uh, entertaining gentlemen. Angel reveals her mutant powers to the two men but, as the deleted scene reveals, Professor X and Magneto first show their powers to gain the trust of Angel. We're guessing that it was cut because Fassbender objected to appearing in drag...

First Class, directed by Matthew Vaughn (Kick-Ass), earned $350 million worldwide during its theatrical run. Fox has yet to officially announce a sequel, but Vaughn has admitted that he would "definitely" like to return for a sequel, revealing that a mutant connection to the JFK assassination could be a focus in a sequel. Producer Bryan Singer, director of X-Men and X2: X-Men United, has said that a sequel "could inhabit a whole world of the 20th century." That is, if the studio gives the greenlight to another installment.

We're not exactly surprised this shot ended up on the cutting room floor.

In the clip, which Entertainment Weekly exclusively obtained," X-Men: First Class" star Michael Fassbender, is definitely portrayed in a different light.

Fassbender, who plays Eric Lehnsherr (Magneto) ends up in an awkward position in this clip as his character unknowingly finds himself in women's clothing thanks to James McAvoy (Charles Xavier), who's attempting to demonstrate his powers. In the theatrical version of the film, many wondered why Xavier never demonstrated his abilitiess in the scene, as Magneto and Angel (played by Zoe Kravitz) do.

Well what seems like a small exclusion may have actually been a scene that was cut for the good of the audience (and perhaps the film). It's a bit unusual to say the least (Why would Professor X be thinking about Magneto in drag?! That's a pretty vivid imagination!).

I am an absolute sucker for special features on Blu-rays and DVDs, but one thing I've never cared too much about is deleted scenes. While there is the occasional gem - I still can't figure out why J.J. Abrams cut the Klingons out of Star Trek - most of the scenes are fairly pointless and were left out of the final cut for a reason (it's why I'm not a big fan of studio-created "extended editions" either). Fortunately, the Blu-ray/DVD for X-Men: First Class will have one of those rare gems. Check out the scene below, posted by EW (embed courtesy of FilmDrunk)

For those that don't remember - June 3rd feels like it was so long ago - most of this scene is actually in the movie, but there is one part that hit the cutting room floor: Magneto in a dress. Now, while Michael Fassbender may be a good looking dude, he makes for one seriously ugly woman. I don't think it's that hard to figure out why this was dropped from the movie that was sent to theaters, but apparently this is only the first of 13 deleted scenes that will be featured on the new release and if any of the special features are even half as good as this short clip it will be worth your money. X-Men: First Class, directed by Matthew Vaughn, is set to be released on home video September 9th.

ALTWe all know that Michael Fassbender can pull off suave and sophisticated, but now we officially know he can pull off a sequined dress. In this deleted scene from the upcoming X-Men: First Class DVD, Professor Xavier (James McAvoy) shows off his powers in an...unusual way. Cry "character development" all you want, Matthew Vaughn, we know that you just wanted to get Fassbender into fishnets. For that, the internet thanks you. And personally, I thank you, because it makes my X-Men "take a shot whenever it gets incredibly gay" drinking game all the more enjoyable.

X-Men: First Class comes out on DVD Sept. 9, along with an additional 13 deleted scenes. Hopefully one of them is a fashion face-off between Magneto and Emma Frost. Let's see which one looks better in go-go boots next!

Deleted "X-Men: First Class" Scene Shows Magneto in Drag

Thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we have a deleted scene from the upcoming "X-Men: First Class" DVD and Blu-ray, which will hit stores on September 9th.

The scene shows Charles Xavier/Professor X (James McAvoy) and Eric Lehnsherr/Magneto (Michael Fassbender) traveling to recruit mutants for the new mutant strike force.

Their travels take them to a strip club where Angel (Zoe Kravitz) works. Xavier and Lehnsherr request some private time with her in order to get Angel to reveal how her dragonfly tattoos that emerge from her body to form real wings.

But first they demonstrate their own powers. Lehnsherr levitates a champagne bucket and Xavier then turns Lehnsherr into a drag queen. Check out the clip below.

Magneto is a Drag Queen in This 'X-Men: First Class' Deleted Scene

Earlier this summer, X-Men: First Class proved to be the franchise's best installment since X2, and the story of emergent mutants in the midst of the Cuban Missile Crisis was anchored by a simple tale of friendship between Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr, with each man's philosophy and background leading them to an inevitable break. As Xavier, James McAvoy was charmingly flippant and kind, while Michael Fassbender's nascent Magneto was the engine driving the entire film, filled as he was with and almost regal rage and determination. Would Fassbender's performance not have reached new heights of wonder if a scene were included of him in drag, rocking a slinky dress and a wig? It's a legitimate question, since director Matthew Vaughn actually shot that bit, but didn't include it in the final cut. Now it's online and available for viewing by your disbelieving eyes.

A brief deleted scene from the upcoming Blu-ray and DVD release of the film shows Xavier using his mind-controlling powers on Angel, played by Zoe Kravitz, to give her the impression that his mutant compatriot loves the feel of an Angora sweater. It's not terribly difficult to see why that bit didn't make the final cut, even during the swinging montage of Charles and Erik recruiting mutants for their CIA-approved team, but it is interesting how it tweaks any homoerotic subtext between the two leads (Even if you don't buy into such an interpretation, you can still the love-story gone wrong structure to their story).

The X-Men: First Class Blu-ray and DVD arrive in stores very soon, on September 9th, and will contain plenty of other deleted scenes, along with all manner of extras.

With mere weeks to go until the really rather brilliant X-Men: First Class hits on Blu-ray and DVD, a new deleted scene from the movie has surfaced giving us an altogether different perspective on one particular moment from the film.

In the sequence where Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) and Erik Lensherr (Michael Fassbender) attempt to recruit Angel (Zoë Kravitz) to their fledgling mutant team, the man who will become Magneto is seen using his abilities to levitate a champagne cooler. In turn, this scene shows how Charles then uses his abilities to … well, just look for yourself.

Sadly, or as the case may be thankfully lest your haunting cries of “MY EYES!” keep me awake tonight, the video isn’t embeddable, so you’ll have to head on over to Entertainment Weekly’s Inside Movies to see it in its entirety. Trust me, you’ll never look at Magneto quite the same way again.

Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Given the X-Men franchise's, from its comic books to the big screen, predilection for subtextual LGBT issues, its hard to imagine why the creative team ulitmately scrapped this scene featuring Magneto a.k.a. Eric Lehnsherr (played by actor Michael Fassbender) donning drag at a strip club.

The scene is one of a few deleted scenes that will appear on the September 9 Blu-Ray/DVD release of X-Men: First Class.

Unfortunately, Magneto won't be shantaying her way to the winning tiara on RuPaul's Drag Race anytime soon. Girl needs some help!

Sometimes it's just the little things in life and today's little thing in life is seeing Michael Ass Bender as the drag baby of Miss Coco Peru and Edina Monsoon in a cut scene from X-Men: First Ass. In the deleted scene, Professor X shows Zoe Kravitz that he has mutant powers by turning Magneto into a f&#! me boots-wearing Dragneto in a Ginger Grant wig.

Cutting this scene is like cutting off a kitten's whiskers, but we all know why this ended up on the floor. That ice cold c*** queen January Jones just couldn't handle a hot-blooded tramp looking sessier in a pair of go-go boots than her. January took the director Matthew Vaughn aside, performed the freezer burned version of Glenn Close's "I Will Not Be Ignored" scene from Fatal Attraction before threatening to boil his wife's rabbit coat if he didn't put the scissors on Dragneto. So he did. I swear, January Jones hates children, human teddy bears AND Dragneto!

January has to know that Dragneto will always looks better than her, and if she doesn't, she needs to take a nap and wake up, baby! This queen knows what I'm talking about:

X-Men: First Class was, in my opinion, the best movie based on a comic book released this year. The DVD & Blu-Ray is set for release on September 9th and should be loaded with goodies. Entertainment Weekly released one hilarious deleted scene that shows Michael Fassbender dressed as a hot ginge. I never thought I would one day see Magneto in drag. Check out the deleted scene below. The Blu-ray will contain the following:

I saw and thoroughly enjoyed Matthew Vaughn’s X-Men: First Class this summer, with James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender as Xavier and Magneto (respectively) proving highlights of the experience. But, you know, no movie is perfect. There’s always something missing, something just a little bit off. And, thanks to this deleted scene, I finally understand what was missing from First Class: Magneto in drag. Watch the clip; you kind of had to be there.
