Russian trailer of "X-Men: First Class" reveals some new footages!
Still curious about what's "X-Men: First Class" all about? Well, maybe this Russian version of the first trailer will pretty much answer the question. This is indeed a prequel, since it shows the young Erik Lensherr aka Magneto (Michael Fassbender)'s history when he was apart from his parents briefly. We can also watch Banshee (Caleb Landry Jones) screams his power, Beast (Nicholas Hoult) tries to fly the X-Jet, and Havok (Lucas Till) with Professor X (James McAvoy) surrounded by fire. The music also differs from the original one, it's rather more epic. Watch it below!!

Russian trailer shows much more of X-Men: First Class
Niall | Mar 15, 2011

As if by magic CBM has discovered that Fox Russia has posted a brand new international trailer for X-Men: First Class. Sure it’s in Russian and impossible to understand but there’s a couple of brand new scenes in there, including more of Beast flying the X-Jet, Havok in the Danger Room and Banshee unleashing his sonic scream. Suffice to say it looks pretty damn good.

The movie is a prequel to the X-Men trilogy, set during the 1960′s, and follows the budding relationship between Charles Xavier and Erik Lensher. It also looks at the creation of Xavier’s School for mutants and the assembly of the first X-Men team.

With Kick Ass helmer Matthew Vaughan behind the camera and a cast that includes James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, January Jones, Kevin Bacon, Rose Byrne, Jennifer Lawrence and Lucas Till, X-Men: First Class is shaping up to be really, really good. Shame about the posters.

X-Men: First Class is released June 3rd.

New 'X-Men: First Class' International Trailer Focuses More on Magneto

March 16, 2011 02:37:55 GMT

Sharing a lot of new footage, the newly-found trailer sees young Erik Lensherr using his power, and his older version putting on Magneto helmet.

Another sneak peek video for "X-Men: First Class" has been debuted to tide fans over the release of the movie. Dubbed in Russian, the new international trailer has more footage with Michael Fassbender's Erik Lensherr.

Young Erik is seen expressing his frustration with his mutant powers, while his softer side is exposed when older Erik sheds some tears in another scene. Also, there is a glimpse of Erik getting ready to do his thing while donning the early Magneto helmet.

Other fresh scenes give preview to Caleb Landry Jones' Sean Cassidy/Banshee as he deals with his power. He is showing off his mutant vocal abilities in front of his friends, and there is a quick shot of him flying through the air.

"X-Men: First Class" will chart the epic beginning of the X-Men saga, when Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. They were working together with other Mutants to stop Armageddon. In the process, a grave rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto's Brotherhood and Professor X's X-Men.

James McAvoy takes the other key role, Charles, with Jennifer Lawrence, Rose Byrne, Nicholas Hoult, January Jones and Kevin Bacon playing other mutant characters. Coming from director Matthew Vaughn, the action sci-fi movie will be unleashed in U.S. cinemas on June 3.

Russia’s X-Men: First Class Trailer is Magneto-rific
March 15, 2011

Looks like the Russians are fascinated with Magneto. Or at least, whoever cut this trailer for Russian consumption, which focuses quite extensively on the past, present, and future of one Magneto as played by Michael Fassbender. You don’t really need to know Russia to know what’s going on. Magneto is one pissed off dude, and being the master of magnetism and all, you don’t want to be on his bad side. Lots of groovy new footage from Matthew Vaughn’s

New (Russian) 'X-Men: First Class' trailer has unseen footage, ambiguous dialogue

By Mikey O'Connell

March 16, 2011 12:28 PM ET

We're so excited for the upcoming reboot of the "X-Men" franchise, we're happy to watch any new clips it has to offer... even if we can't understand them.

Movieline points us to the Russian trailer for the film, and in addition to obviously playing down that whole Cuban Missile Crisis business, it has quite a bit of unseen footage.

In lieu of a montage of all the cast, the trailer focuses on Charles (James McAvoy) and Erik (Michael Fassbender), with flashbacks to Magneto's concentration camp beginnings, a menacingly classy score and a parting shot of Fassbender looking about as badass (badassbender?) as anyone ever could.

In Russia, Men X You
By Rob Bricken in Comics, Movies

I'm not sure why Russia has a new trailer for X-Men: First Class, chock full of unseen footage, but they do, and frankly, I can't believe no one's used the old Yakov Smirnov special for the title before me. Oh well. You're probably more interested in the shots of the mutants using their powers, Beast mutating into blue furry Beast, Emma Frost getting her diamond mode on, and most importantly, Michael Fassbender as Magneto being totally badass as at every single moment. I gotta tell you, this Russian trailer makes me more excited for First Class than the Anerican trailer did. Someone should get a few extra rubles in their paycheck for that.

Tons of new footage in the Russian X-men: First Class trailer
What few words of Russian I know were all learned from Colossus' dialogue in Chris Claremont's X-men comics. None of that is enough to help me translate this awesome new Russian trailer for X-men: First Class. So even though none of us will likely understand a lick of it, the scenes are undeniably cool. Especially the brand new ones, including a good glimpse of Banshee testing out his sonic scream and Beast(Nicholas Hoult) transforming into his blue furred self for what appears to be the first time. And how cool are those scenes with Azazel teleporting around like his son, Nightcrawler? Seriously, how bad ass is Magneto(Michael Fassbender)? When is this coming out again? June 3rd? Aaargh, can't wait! Check out the trailer below!

Trailer Talk: ‘X-Men: First Class’ (Russian Version)

– by SHERICE ANTOINETTE –

The Russian trailer for “X-Men: First Class” is a prime of example of how music can set the right tone.

Far superior to the American version — which has a lackluster guitar-solo playing throughout — the Russian edition is scored by a powerful orchestra complete with resonating choir. From the moment the violin sounds, we are immediately drawn into the unfolding scenes.

Another improvement is the added footage, which gives “First Class” a more dramatic and emotional vibe. There’s also more Charles Xavier and more Erik Lehnsherr. Truthfully, I care more about their story than that of the students and it was wise to make their turbulent relationship the main selling point.

Also included is an exciting clip of Banshee bellowing a sonic scream. Havoc is wreaking havoc. Beast transforms and we get a better glimpse of Magneto. Which brings me to my next point. Michael Fassbender has the most screen time this go round and in every moment, he demands our attention. Of course, the music helps. However, I get the feeling his portrayal of X-Men’s infamous villain will be the most talked about. Before viewing this preview, I was on the fence about “X-Men: First Class,” but now I’m definitely interested in seeing how it will turn out. Hopefully, January Jones is only in it for five minutes and the focus stays primarily on Charles and Erik.

“X-Men: First Class” opens June 3.

So fanboys and girls, what do you think of the Russian trailer?

New Russian X-Men First Class Trailer
Written by: Michael on March 18, 2011

A brand new trailer for X-Men First Class has exploded onto the web and offers some good with some bad. The good is it features all new footage including that of BEAST which we have not seen before. The bad is its in Russian so you will have to live with the non-english factor. Checkout the new trailer below.

X-MEN FIRST CLASS charts the epic beginning of the X-Men saga, and reveals a secret history of famous global events. Before mutants had revealed themselves to the world, and before Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time.

Not archenemies, they were instead at first the closest of friends, working together with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to prevent nuclear Armageddon. In the process, a grave rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto’s Brotherhood and Professor X’s X-Men

It is directed by Matthew Vaughn and stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Rose Byrne, January Jones, Oliver Platt, and Kevin Bacon

X-Men: First Class (June 3) - dir. Matthew Vaughn:

After the, er, less-than-stellar film that was Wolverine, the X-Men franchise is jumping back to the 60s to tell the story of how Prof. Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) came to create his school for mutants, in turn making his best friend Eric/Magneto (Michael Fassbender) become his archenemy.

Why: Despite its big budget trappings, the cast is decidedly more indie/art house, with names like McAvoy, Fassbender, Rose Byrne, and Jennifer Lawrence. Even more encouraging is the presence of Matthew Vaughn, who was able to make dynamic and effective action sequences on a very small budget in Kick Ass.

Why Not: This is one of those sequels/prequels that makes me wonder if it really needs to exist. We know which characters (among the majors) will live, which could potentially kill any drive or tension in the story. There's also so many characters with special powers, and the film could have trouble giving each a moment to shine.

Trailer Grade: B/B-

Take a look: "X-Men: First Class" new trailer
4/22/2011 8:00:00 AM

The second trailer for the "X-Men: First Class" offers an interesting look at the relationship between Charles Xavier (James McAvoy playing the younger version of the character that Patrick Stewart originated) and Erik Lehnsherr (Michael Fassbender playing the Magneto role first played by Ian McKellen).

If Fassbender doesn't look familiar from his international films like "Hunger" and "Fish Tank," you might remember him from "Inglourious Basterds" as Lt. Archie Hicox, the English soldier who goes undercover as a German captain.

If you want to check out the popping-up-everywhere Fassbender and can't wait for the June 3 release of "X-Men: First Class," how about checking him out in "Jane Eyre," finally arriving in Tulsa next Friday at Circle Cinema.

Yes, Fassbender is playing the role of Rochester, opposite Mia Washikowska ("Alice in Wonderland") as Jane.

New International X-Men: First Class Trailer
A new look at Matthew Vaughn's epic origins story.
Posted 21st April 2011, 5:58pm in Film

They may be churning out some pretty ropey posters, but at least Fox can put an exciting trailer together.

Here's a new international promo for X-Men: First Class, which offers a slightly different look and new footage. Matthew Vaughn's epic origins story boasts James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender as the young Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr, aka Professor X and Magneto. There's also the fabulous Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Rose Byrne and Kevin Bacon.

X-Men: First Class hits UK cinemas on 2nd June.

X-Men: First Class gets a new international trailer

It's better than the poster…

X-Men: First Class may have had some dodgy promo posters, but it always manages to redeem itself just in time with a stonking trailer.

A new international trailer for Matthew Vaughn's super-mutant prequel has landed online, and it's cool enough to blow away any number of dodgy Photoshop incidents.

There's plenty of new footage in there, though you may have seen some of it doing the rounds as a foreign-language promo.

Michael Fassbender still looks to be stealing the show as a cool-as-hell Magneto, and there are Bond references a-plenty thrown in.

Check out the international trailer for yourself:

X-Men: First Class is released on 2 June 2011.

Has this trailer got you well and truly excited for First Class? Is it good enough to banish the memory of those posters? Tell us what you think!

by Linda Ge

Michael Fassbender’s Erik Lensherr is the focus of the new international trailer for “X-Men: First Class”, with focus on his his tragic beginnings and inevitable path to becoming iconic mutant super villain Magneto. Also in the mix in the new trailer are some new footage of Banshee (Caleb Landry Jones), Havok (Lucas Till) and Azazel (Jason Flemyng) in action.

The film, more about the origin of mutants Magneto and Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) than the traditional “first class” of Xavier’s students at his School for Gifted Youngsters, also stars Rose Byrne as Moira MacTaggert, Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique, Nicholas Hoult as Beast, Kevin Bacon as Sebastian Shaw and January Jones as Emma Frost.

“X-Men: First Class” releases in theaters on June 3rd.

"X-Men: First Class" may be the breakout blockbuster of the summer season.

Since the film, out June 3, is a prequel, it doesn't have any of the actors from the original "X-Men" trilogy or "Wolverine" spin-off.

However, that doesn't mean "First Class" doesn't have star power. In fact, Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique) was nominated for a Best Actress Oscar nomination this year, and James McAvoy (Charles Xavier), Kevin Bacon (Sebastian Shaw),Rose Byrne (Moira MacTaggart) and January Jones (White Queen) have been nominated for Golden Globe Awards.

Check out this new movie poster featuring the cast:

From left to right: Nicholas Hoult (Beast), James McAvoy (Charles Xavier/Professor X), Michael Fassbender (Erik Lehnsherr/Magneto), January Jones (Emma Frost/White Queen), Rose Byrne (Moira MacTaggart), Lucas Till (Havok), Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), Jason Flemyng (Azazel), Zoe Kravitz (Angel) and Kevin Bacon (Sebastian Shaw).

Also new this week is the international trailer for the movie, which features many action scenes and the first look at Caleb Landry Jones as the mutant Banshee.

New 'X-Men: First Class' Trailer Is All About Magneto (Video)
Published: April 20, 2011 @ 1:04 pm

By Tim Kenneally

The fourth and latest international trailer for the upcoming superhero film “X-Men: First Class” puts a particular focus on Michael Fassbender in the role of Magneto. Makes sense, really -- with a name like that, obviously the character will be a big attraction in the movie.

The Matthew Vaughn-directed “X-Men: First Class,” which also stars James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence and January Jones, hits theaters on June 3. In the meantime, watch Fassbender get into pole position in the video.

New X-Men: First Class Trailer Is Better Than the Posters
April 20, 2011 By Jon Lyus View Comments

Let’s put the recent Photoshop shambles of the new posters for Matthew Vaughn’s X-Men: First Class aside (if you want to relive the horror click here and shield those eyes) and take some time to enjoy a little bit of new footage for the film, which is out on the 1st of June.

Vaughn has a ton of talent along for the 60s set ride, with James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Kevin Bacon, Nicholas Hoult and January Jones just a few of the chosen few turning up early for class.

If you have been keeping up with the Xaviers then you’ll have seen some of this footage before but there’s a few new bits here and there, and it’s certainly looking far better in motion than the static inanity which accompanies it.

Trailer Ahoy!

New X-Men: First Class Film Trailer

By Rebecca Murray, About.com Guide April 22, 2011

Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy in X-Men First Class

The only knowledge I have of the X-Men franchise is what I've learned from the previous three X-Men films, so when I say this new trailer for X-Men: First Class (an origin story) actually looks pretty interesting, you know where I'm coming from. In this new trailer, more of the backstory of the two central characters - James McAvoy (The Conspirator) as Charles Xavier/Professor X and Michael Fassbender (Jane Eyre, Fish Tank) as Erik Lehnsherr/Magneto - is revealed. And I've got to admit I'd watch this film just to see what these two actors will bring to the franchise, even if I disliked the past X-Men films - which I didn't. The new First Class trailer also shows us a bit more of the young mutants, including January Jones as Emma Frost and Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique.

I'm impressed by the new trailer. Are you?

Most of the footage has been seen before in the Russian trailer released last month, but we do get a different view of Magneto’s epic submarine lift and not only does Banshee fly, he raises out of the water like Jean Grey should have done in X3. Someone also destroys the ground with their feet.

Watch below:

Earlier this week a TV spot leaked onto the web which told viewers to go to the official X-Men: First Class Facebook page to watch a new trailer. While it was swifltly removed, it does indicate a second theatrical trailer will be released sometime soon.

Matthew Vaughn’s movie, set for release on June 3rd, will focus on Xavier (James McAvoy) and Magneto (Michael Fassbender) as they work together with other mutants to stop the Hellfire Club, an international social club for wealthy elites who seek to influence world events to their own agenda. Kevin Bacon will play the leader, Sebastian Shaw, along with January Jones as Emma Frost.

The movie also features Dr. Moira MacTaggert (Rose Byrne), Azazel (Jason Flemyng), Beast (Nicholas Hoult), Havok (Lucas Till), Angel Salvadore (Zoë Kravitz), Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence), Banshee (Caleb Landry Jones) and Darwin (Edi Gathegi).

School's in Session with the New Trailer for X-Men: First Class
The new United Kingdom trailer for X-Men: First Class prominently features the conflict between James McAvoy's Professor X and Michael Fassbender's Magneto, with appearances by some of our favorite children of the atom.

X-Men: First Class, taking place before the events of the previous X-Men films, focuses on the souring alliance between Professor X and Magneto. Now, with the release of a new United Kingdom trailer for the movie, we can see the former friends' conflict in even more detail.

In addition to all of the dramatic posturing and bangarang special effects, the trailer also shows off a fair bit of the supporting cast. While mere words can't express our disappointment at not seeing more of January Jones' hubba-hubba-inducing Emma Frost, the feeling was tempered by the appearance of some of our other favorite merry mutants

In addition to James McAvoy's Professor X and Michael Fassbender's Magneto, the trailer provides glimpses of Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique, Caleb Landry Jones in the air as Banshee, Nicholas Hoult transforming into the Beast, and a mutant with a devil-tail, which we're assuming is Jason Flymeng's Azazel, the father of Nightcrawler.

Check out the trailer below and let us know if you spot any children of the atom that we might have missed.

X-Men: First Class Trailer

"Tomorrow, mankind will know that mutants exist." Fox recently unveiled yet another new international trailer for Matthew Vaughn's X-Men: First Class today via Empire that's actually still worth watching. This isn't the completely new second trailer we've been waiting for since the first one hit in February, but I fear we won't see too many more besides this. This trailer starts very much the same way, but has a bit more of an epic and a bit more of a British feel to it, with a focus more on Magneto (Michael Fassbender) and his power. I just can't wait to see this movie, it's going to be a hell of a superhero summer. Fire it up below!

Watch a new international trailer for Matthew Vaughn's X-Men: First Class:

Before Charles Xavier (McAvoy) and Erik Lensherr (Fassbender) took the names Professor X & Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for their first time, even working together as friends.

X-Men: First Class is directed by British director Matthew Vaughn, of Layer Cake, Stardust and Kick-Ass. Bryan Singer, director of X-Men 1 and 2, is producing and wrote the story. The screenplay was written by quite a few writers, including Josh Schwartz ("Gossip Girl" & "Chuck"), Jamie Moss (Street Kings), Ashley Miller ("Fringe", Thor), Zack Stentz, and finally Jane Goldman (Kick-Ass). Marv Films & 20th Century Fox will be bringing X-Men: First Class to theaters everywhere starting June 3rd this summer. Excited yet?
